Its hard to accomplish things that benefit ALL of we the people when constrained by a party ideology that is shared by only a fraction of the people and is based on concepts that have a history of ineffectiveness for all but the well to do.

Oh yes. The ACA didn’t hurt anyone did it? Did it?

We didn’t realize that all the fussing the Republicans did about Death Panels was because they were mad the ACA didn’t have any. All taken care of now. The entire AHCA is one bloody Death Panel.

Oh well. We all die eventually. Just be a bit sooner that’s all.

At least they won’t be able to debate the amendments they’ll be able to shove into it after it was written by Mitch by himself in a closet.

Unfortunately, many of those who are affected badly by this bill, don’t vote or don’t have the access that others have.

I remember hearing trump saying who knew healthcare reform could be so complicated? Many know. Those who have tried to negotiate with an insurance company over an erroneous bill know. Doctors who are frustrated by regulations know. Doctor office workers who have to figure out the complications of new regulations and many different insurance companies know. There are many of us who do know. I sometimes think that those who complain about the ACA don’t realize just how complex it is. It is true that it didn’t go far enough, but it was a super heavy lift just to get the ACA. I am married to a surgeon who came on board with being a doc about 30 years ago, and he is fed up with all the problems with just offering medical care. He is 100% for single payer. I am sure this would shock many people.

Members of Congress can opt into a partly government subsidized health care program.

I found Trump’s comments very interesting.

I didn’t realize this was a liberal wasteland of a strip. I was just looking for funny comics. Non-political comics. Or at least smart and funny political comics, i.e. Conservative, NOT liberal.

I didn’t realize you were going to post conservative nonsense of a comment. I was just looking for intelligent observances. In the political comic section. Or at least smart and funny comments, i.e. based on the cartoon, NOT whiny rhetoric.

Funny how some people can’t read or click on a button that says conservative if that is what they want.
