   You have all convinced me. I will venture out more often from “behind the curtain” (thank you for that “curtain” reference, UltraLameFest2.) I guess I wasn’t sure if my comments added or subtracted from my cartoons. Thank you, my dear lame ones, for your support.

   Honestly, I rarely think things through when creating FA. I decide to do things without really knowing why. I often surprise (or confuse) myself in the process. It might not be apparent, but I often spend hours on what looks like a random and nonsensical one-off creation. It feels really weird to make these comments. I’m not sure if I intend to do so again.

   That makes sense to me now, too. I think it boiled down to the awkward placement of the word balloon. Sometimes, a cartoon goes South for the dumbest of reasons.
