First off, my screen name. I am a Texan working in a technical field. I did NOT attend Texas Tech. I went to a real university in Texas. Born and grew up in Houston, then spent about 24 years in Austin, back to Houston, and then in Indiana, first time to live outside of Texas. Back to Austin ten years and now 26 months (as of late August, 2021) in Miami, FL. Work keeps me moving around. I am now on my way to North Carolina. While only living in three states, I have passed through or visited 35-40 of the lower 48 states. I have missed the Big Sky country (Dakotas, Wyoming, Montana) and upper New England states. As should be obvious from my comments, I am a yellow dog Democrat with views on social justice based on the teachings of all the great religious teachers. I love music of most types. Not opera. I can tolerate some C&W. Have heard very little rap I can tolerate. My music is traditional Blues and 60s-70s rock. Also like classical and easy listening.

    I had a supervisor once who held onto one sticky note as it was the only written instructions she had ever received from her boss. Everything else was vebal. Convenient for plausible deniability.

    I was under the impression that the current factory coatings are sufficient. I lived in Indinapolis where they use plenty of salt. When my car was totalled by a hail storm, the dealer said nothing about undercoating for the new car and I had no problems the remaining eight years I lived in Indiana. Then drove it another ten years in Texas until it was totalled by some idiot accellerating into my trunk.

    Hardly. The storage tank vents are off to the side of the property and usually the top of the vent is about 10-12 feet up.

    Hydraulics and automobiles are two very different things. Mess up the hydraulics on the lift and he could be crushed under it if it came down suddenly. Best leave that to the experts.

    It is sort of like when I worked in radio. How hard can it be to replace a light bulb? When it is the marker beacon on a hot 5,000 watt radio tower, we left it to the towerjacks who knew how to do it without getting electrocuted.
