   I think the same is true of Hamish Macbeth: the series is even better than the books! Partly because the great Robert Carlyle played Hamish.

   I’ve been a mail carrier for 25 years now, and I still think a walk in the rain is one of the fringe benefits of the job! It’s not real good for the mail, but nothing’s perfect.

   I can think of one reason for using the 60’s TV version of Batman here in Dick Tracy. The producer of 60’s Batman actually made a Dick Tracy pilot (which never went to series). I watched it on YouTube. It was kind of dull.
