Might be an urban myth, but back in the day I heard that Necco Wafers could be used as quarters in Illinois Tollway coin bins.

I think the TV show was called “The Wonderful World of Disney” and we watched it every week. Came on at 6;30 on Sundays in Chicago on NBC, I think. The first Ed Sullivan Show my family ever watched was when I pestered them to tune into the Beatles U.S. debut in 1964. Sullivan came on at 7 on CBS, as I recall.

I did not discover Cul de Sac when Richard was still with us. The papers I read were not smart enough to run it, and I had not yet starting reading comics online. Cul de Sac is a timeless treasure. I love it.

That’s what I was thinking. If you’re looking for Croptop, just pass out her mugshots. But I guess Junior needs the work. Even if the writing is dull, at least the art in today’s strip is topnotch.

Been to Rip’s a few times (our family farm is near Troy Grove). My cousin knows all the routines there, and the chicken is excellent, but for me the wait is not worth it.

I too think it may be that cop that’s always keeping an eye on Bozo. For some reason I call the cop Clancy, but Foxo never named him, right Michael?

Looked to me like April slipped off a rock. Don’t see any push by Edgar.
