Ironic considering who he does end up with… I mean she’s technically not from his home town ANYMORE

I do like getting to see a petty side to Daphne and pivoting from “Nate gets jealous” (which is fairly stal) to both trying to win out of spite..

It’s stuff like this why I enjoy this relationship: for a strip often stuck in old themes or concepts , it’s something new it’s not his first relationship ..but it’s the first with a more developed charcter and no end in sight.

I’ve always felt Milo is a bit of a pill here. Yes the past could be a nightmare but it doesn’t make the present a daydream. Self help isn’t the answer, but neither is saying “how you feel dosent matter because pioneers had it rough.”

This is why you always make sure someone can pay you before a comission and that you can afford one.

I like this. That Daphne…already knew and isn’t weird about it. And of course wingus and dingus spread the falsehood that she dumped Nate after he broke up with her FOR THEM.

Nate trying to hide your previous relationships never goes well. Also you broke up with her.. even if your friends were giant jerks about that. You have nothing to hide: it didn’t work out, your good.

A valid point. Now we’re back tot hat between storyline era. I’m also hoping we get more books soon. Bohndia hinted on instagram he wrote the tricky tuesday storyline for the trade, but so far there hasn’ tbeen a peep of the next book for Crabgrass or heart of the city.

Yeah while IDEALLY they could do it over the summer, a renevation this big will probably take till next spring at best, in part becasue i’m sure there’s a bunch of hoops the theater will have to go thorugh as part of the grant and working with the school. Mostly the latter. The district likely has to approve the redesign, the contractors, all of that. I could be wrong as i have no idea how middle school theater grants work and have my hands full enough doing work research. I don’t really have time for that.
