   With burglary, the worst isn’t the valuables that are stolen (although that hurts as well), but the fact that strangers have been in your home, going through your things, invading the sanctity of your home.

   I am the same, I start packing days before a trip. But I also pack for my husband, we only take one bag for clothes anyway. And if we go by car, I’ll use another bag for our own pillows. With motorcycles, it’s even less to take with us, usually two small bags that fit precisely in his motorcycle trunks and shoes will be put in my motorcycle bags. It has become quite a challenge for us, to travel with the least luggage we can.

   As of 2021, checks aren’t a valid form of payment here anymore, and ever since paying with debit cards became a thing here (since 1988), we started using those to pay in grocery stores and shops. And nowadays, most bills are payed digitally through bank apps anyway.

   Same here, but I’ve been able to train her a bit. I just mention that I need coffee and she’ll get up off my lap. I’ll get coffee, sit back down and she’s back on my lap again.

   Agree. We just had a four day weekend, with sunny days and it felt like a holiday. Unfortunately, Monday arrived again today and husband needs to go to work again. But…we have another long weekend ahead of us, next Friday.
