Yup sure does. was almost robbed like three other apartments on my level in the San Fernando Valley years ago. Something scared them off before they completed their goal which turned out to be my alarm clock beeping which I was not able to hear. For once being hard of hearing worked in my favor. Even my TV and spare coins in a pot still remained on the counter near the open window. The big window screen however was now gone.
