   One of mine is buried in the flowerbed and another in the garden. I made some “headstones” to indicate where they are buried. I can see those every day as a reminder. I miss them still.

   None of my dogs ever pulled on a leash after they learned not to. Only took a couple of days to train them.

   I have learned to make a check-off list for things to pack. Then when I pack to go back home, I just need to check them all off again.

   I never liked having those “early birds” at my garage sales. You have to put it in your ad, but that doesn’t keep them all away. GRRR!

   I used to do garage sales every year for a little extra cash, but the last one I did was 10 years ago. I am 82 and too old to do them anymore and just take all the things I would have put out for sale to a local St. Vincent DePaul. Don’t need the money anymore.

   I took piano lessons for 8 years too and I got to be pretty good. My teacher thought so too and had me take a few of her beginning students. It was fun and I earned a little money for it, but it was not my passion. Though I have a nice piano, I never play it anymore. I would rather listen to music on my stereo.

   In my yard, it is the rabbits that bite off the tulip buds. It would not make me so angry at them if they actually ate them, but they only bite them off and then leave them on the ground.
