   As an ex electrician, now general maintenance tech, I have to know how to run a circuit, change a faucet cartridge, run a sewer snake to clear a clogged sink, repair drywall, paint, and fix a lock… while being the lowest paid on the crew. I have a big painting job coming up, and I lose ten bucks an hour by not being labelled a painter. I know about wage discrepancy
