    If you go into any town in UK, pretty much all the roads will have a path (know as sidewalk in USA) beside them – there will be some exceptions, but generally other than needing to cross roads you will be able to walk across town using footpaths beside a road.

    If the closest star to us goes out we’ll know in about 8 or 9 minutes (assuming we survive it that long), if the next closest goes out we’ll know in 4.5 years – there are over 80 within 25 light years from Earth – though there are none likely to just go out with a bang within that distance

    I no longer have a clock I can see the time on at night – It stopped a lot of the stress of looking at the clock worrying about getting back to sleep.

    The reason we think frogs go ribbit, ribbit is because of the Baja California chorus frog (Pseudacris hypochondriaca) which can be found close to Hollywood and as result it’s calls ended as stock sounds for film and television. The Pacific tree frog (Pseudacris regilla or Pacific chorus frog), is the only other which call ribbit, ribbit – all based on west side of North America.
