   The bigger issue than AI generated content is what kinds of content will sell. Stuff like “Honey Booboo” still runs because there is a profitable market for it. One might generate all kinds of content via AI, but what matters more is the tastes of people who are willing to pay for it.

   In my experience, corporate drones usually pick cheap over more expensive original artistry. To them mediocre is fine as long as it fits the budget. Artists have been passed over like this long before AI was around.

   Yep, really good creativity is original. Anything that is an AI cut-and-paste job is not going to measure up. Tastes vary… some people might like what can be conjured up via AI, but I’m not expecting AI to rise to the abilities of true artistic masters.

   Yep. I also cut junk food off of my grocery list – not only brings my bills down, but also is better for my health.

   Sometimes people small carts into curbs in the parking lot… sometimes they back into them…

   I’m not sure that these stores have anybody on their payrolls who can fix (or care about fixing) bad wheels… or have any replacement parts.

   Court rules and rulings apply to everyone – even those who believe that they are above the law.

   Relatively few end up in jail for failing to pay taxes – most end up with wage garnishments and / or property seized. There is no violence used to place and keep one in jail, unless one violently resists being jailed.

   I thought that conservatives were complaining that schools were using DEI (which they feel is unfairly inclusive). Teaching religion is best done at church (rather than in public school) because religious subject matter experts are more likely found in church. Why waste taxpayer money inefficiently by trying to make agnostics teach religion – particularly versions of religion that they have little to no experience with?

    Back in the mid-1970s I saw a picture in “Fate Magazine” that claimed to show ghosts of monks walking in a line at an old church – but their feet were below the floor level. Story claimed that back in the days when monks dressed like those in the picture were alive, the church’s floor was down at the level that the ghosts were walking upon.

    Very hard to prove what could have been a staged or manipulated photo (although long before software like Photoshop)… but it was an interesting concept.
