Speaking of golf, the first time I ever played I shot three under par for the entire course. Too bad it got dark before I could get to the second hole.
Third base is NOT the position for the slow reactors! Neither is pitcher or first base. I played both third and first base at different times. And I was the shortest guy on the team.
Way back in my glory days of softball-playing, there was usually a rule against deliberately hitting the ball back at the pitcher. Softball pitchers are 60 feet from the batter, while hardball pitchers are 90 feet. A big guy could easily hurt a pitcher with a line drive. New softballs are NOT soft.
A woman in New York did, sort of. She sued him for defamation and won a $5 Million dollar judgement. Then he defamed her AGAIN, and she was awarded $455 Million more. Turns out he was never a real billionaire after all. He does not have enough money to pay those judgements, with interest. He couldn’t even pay a $175 Million dollar bond so he could appeal the judgments.
