That CEO likely did get a raise, and probably also cashed in a few hundred thousand dollars in stock dividends from ziploc and other resealable bag makers

“We have spent hundreds of years developing imperfect human physicians who then fail after a few decades. "

If this is a reference to physicians dying, then humans are still ahead by miles.

I wish editorial comic artists would stop making “satire” that reads like an endorsement ad.

And you highlight the major problem with corrupt agencies like the IOC making demands that women athletes are required to wear two-piece bikinis but no such requirement for male athletes to wear speedos to play the same sport.

We can only hope that Broadway does not take the same heavy-handed tactics of the RIAA by suing children for infringement

Riley is gonna smack Phil upside the head again is what it means. “Guess I never learned that @#$!” he’ll tell Huey

As Frank Zappa observed: “It’s not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity and make it work for you.”

You’re talking about spending the energy equivalent of several large cities to experiment with a technology that has proven time and again to fail at delivering quality medical advice.

There ARE niche cases of surgeons using the technology to improve their surgical procedures but even there sometimes the computer suggests an impossible angle or technique.

The fact is that the cost to benefit ratio would take decades to equalize and it’s not clear it would actually improve medical care.

Many in the Knesset could not make a governing coalition, and that’s what they’d need to do anything remotely different.

Yeah but don’t compare it to lebensraum even though it’s the same policy under a different banner
