   The problem with that argument (re: “flyover country”) is that it gives more voice to real estate than people. If the majority of people vote one way, why should pieces of land be allowed to overrule the voice of the people?

   Otherwise, I agree. There is an overwhelming need for the Electoral College to go – both for the traditional reasons of allowing the loser of the popular vote to attain the highest office of the land – and the reasons Trump made manifest – attempts to manipulate and vacate the outcome of the election.

   Now, more than ever, the Electoral College needs to go.

   But you are right; it will take a constitutional amendment to get rid of it. And the odds of that passing right now are about the same as the survival of our democratic republic.

   Really sad is, once upon a time, this particular Batmobile was once the 1957 Ford Futura – a fascinating concept car, though only one was ever produced. It sat, rotting, when George Barris picked it up and transformed it into what some of us think was the coolest Batmobile on screen – even if the TV show was often goofy.

   Worst of all: When introduced, Bets was quite possibly the brightest character in the strip – her fault being media obsession, to be sure.

   Now, she’s just as ditzy as Tiffany.

   By the by, back in the “fat” Tiffany days, she was showing signs of improvement and intelligence. Now, the “old” Tiffany is back, though not as the villain she used to be.

   Just what others might consider “good looking” – and a total air head.

    Not if SCOTUS has anything to say about it. By taking the immunity case AT ALL, Trump will now have all the delays he needs to put the real cases past November.

    Sadly, on this one, Robby is right: New York is likely the only case where Trump might face accountability.

    Even sadder, it’s the weakest of the cases against Trump – both the charges and the evidence. And his antics may manage to pull off a mistrial here, too.

    I’ve come to believe that Trump will never see any jail time, any more than he will pay any of the fines or judgments already against him.

    Just ask the contractors he’s stiffed in the past!
