Engage with someone making a well formed, thought provoking argument, yes, but from the statement that began this particular section of comments, one might as well be debating with the proverbial brick wall. I would much rather debate with someone who makes intelligent opposing arguments rather than someone who makes a simple blanket statement such as the one above with no facts to back it up.
Oh Tik-Tok, you are the extreme Dare edition to the old game of Truth or Dare. Problem is, no one is looking at the “Truth” in what these “Dares” can/will do.
Very well stated. Yes, there are some thoroughly well thought out comments, especially the ones stating that the president has no sway on what the big corporations charge for goods and services. Raw material gets a price increase for whatever reason they want to come up with (or not) and it all gets passed down the line. Employers raise wages to supposedly off-set inflation and possibly keep up with the cost of living and then they themselves have to raise their prices in order to stay in business. If anything, in the situation we are in now world economy-wise, it’s inevitable, not presidential.
Y’all….don’t feed the troll. We all know their statement is full of more holes than a cartoon block of Swiss cheese, but when you feed them, they just keep coming back.
Thanks! Guess I missed that. Makes sense though, I suppose. In the real world, it can be a treacherous job. Married couples with a family could end up orphaning the kids in one tragic incident.
