   I got feed to entice the deer to leave my roses alone. The word spread around the neighborhood and just made the problem worse.

   Nothing positive to say about the comic, but on a tangent I discovered this wonderful version of The Phantom of the Opera sung by Floor Jansen (Nightwish) and Henk Poort. That’s the closest I’ve gotten to liking opera.

   I didn’t have quite so much vinyl, but I donated it all to the local thrift shop operated by the animal shelter. They told me the albums created quite a stir, some of them apparently quite valuable. I am happy with my decision.

   I’m with the kid, love to listen to music on the iphone while I am hiking in the middle of nowhere, especially to my own homemade playlists. Linda and Nancy and Melissa with me in the mountains.

   Snowed here yesterday, but not as howling as last year’s late April snow. Climate change is real.

    I have to go thru a gate each morning where a security guy checks my badge. I always say thank you and it always brings a smile. Makes both of us feel better and doesn’t cost a single penny.
