It is interesting (to me anyway) that Nimrod originally was a biblical figure honored as a mighty hunter. Then somewhere along the way it became an insult as seen here. Language is a strange thing. Is it an insulting name in other languages as well?
As I recall, the 100 acre wood stories have recently entered the public domain. Which allows artists to use the characters and artwork without threat of legal action.
It is their money and they can donate or not as they wish. I don’t think a school should adopt a model where their existence is dependent on donations. That seems to be a problem as well, when principles are variable depending on the people who give you money. Sounds like politics.
Yeah, that is the unrealistic detail that bothered me about this comic.
