Happy Mothers Day to all Mothers who are reading this! (The closest equivalent I qualify for was about two weeks ago, on the last Sunday in April: National Pet Parents Day. Alas, the only “gifts” my feline friend gave me for the occasion were in his litterbox.)
Aren’t the plutocrats afraid that the bribes they’re promising Cannon will make Clarence jealous? He might demand to renegotiate the “understanding” he has with them.
Outlawing abortion is only the first step for them. Next they will be going after birth control, especially the pill. Their plan for women is apparent: As long as you still bleed, your purpose is to breed.
I’ve been a fan of the Dead since their song Casey Jones came out. I was able to see them perform live in Golden Gate Park in 1975, when they and Jefferson Starship headlined a free concert. I lived across the street from the east end of the Park at that time (about 3 blocks from the corner of Haight and Ashbury). Regarding the walleye and cole slaw dinner: A meal of walleye (or its cousin, yellow lake perch) with a side of cole slaw is a Friday night favorite in the small Wisconsin city where I grew up and ultimately returned to after living many other places in between. IMO, they are the finest tasting fish there is freshwater or saltwater.
i get the feeling that the pluggers of this comic would not even bother to do their laundry, because it’ll just get dirty the next time they wear it. They use the same excuse for not making their beds in the morning.
Considering the way Pig seems to be staring at her chest in panels 2 and 3, I expected her to say something quite different (although still using the swear word).
There’s an interview with the B.C. at The Daily Cartoonist dated February 28, 2008, with many interesting comments at the end, some made by a few other cartoonists who are relatively well-known. (I used the search phrase: who was the “bad cartoonist”? on the Bing search page, and that led me to the interview.)
