I was born exactly 5 years after the first issue of Buster. While I do remember them vaguely – the main ones I read as a child in the UK were ‘Action’ but more fondly ‘Warlord’ … then came 2000AD and I was down that rabbit hole. Starlord branched out but eventually merged with 2000AD. (odd fact… Judge Dredd which became the heart of 2000AD only started in prog 2, because prog 1 was given over to Dan Dare mainly)And I remember being given when I was younger a comic book depicting someone building a set of armour to keep himself alive. Yes it was Iron Man – it could have been issue 1, but really don’t know. Wasn’t on my list of favourites at the time.
