   Hey, I live in The Villages and we have more pickleball courts then any other community in the world. And I still have to endure long lineups sometimes to play. Oh well … I’m retired and I’ve got the time.

   As mentioned above, the Williams sisters got thoroughly thrashed by a guy ranked 203 on the men’s tour. This is not a sexist comment, it’s just how nature made us – it’s just not fair to put a man’s body against a woman’s in most physical activities. However, in today’s world it gets a bit fuzzy sometimes when talking about transgender bodies. How much of the male body is still prominent after a sex change to a woman’s body? Is it fair to the other women to let that body compete against theirs? Hmmm

    The point of a crossword puzzle clue isn’t to be right, it’s to give you a clue. It isn’t always grammatically correct, or even literally factual, but as long it gives you a clue then it’s done its job. I know, school teachers and people with multiple degrees may get annoyed, but it’s still acceptable in the crossword puzzle world.
