I am a father, husband, unabashed cat owner, writer of mysteries, and family chief cook and bottle washer. I have reached a point in my life where I hope I have perspective. I try to understand those who disagree with me, I try to help those who need it, and I usually try to see the best in people. Enjoy my posts, disagree with my posts; it doesn't matter. If I make you laugh or challenge an assumption, then my words have not been wasted.

Watching those sycophants, one after another, going up to sit in the courtroom where Trump is being tried certainly is disgusting. What is wrong with these people?

“I do care about inflation, and the border crisis is part of that.” Please explain how the two are related? What are you basing that supposition on?

Elvis certainly doesn’t trust the new scratching post. Might as well just use the sofa.

Not a chance. He can’t speak the truth, and the prosecutor would destroy him on the cross.

Cohen did lie on Trump’s behalf. He was caught, tried, found guilty, and sentenced. He served time and is out on parole. Now, he is testifying and knows the ramifications of lying again. Trump, on the other hand, has never been held to account for his plethora of lies.

Cohen is a flawed individual. He thought that by doing Trump’s bidding, i.e., lying, he would be rewarded. He knows better now.

    I, for one, believe him.

The solid Red southern states, from Texas to Florida, are getting hammered by climate change. Floods, devastating tornados, crippling heat, hurricanes, and then drought. It is almost like a mythical supreme being is taking delight in punishing those who claim virtue, but live lives to the contrary.

No, it wasn’t. From 2016 to 2020, There was an average inflation rate of 1.90% and cumulative inflation of 7.83%. The minimum accrued inflation was due to a worldwide pandemic, and consumers were basically not traveling and not spending.

The prior Republican administration was Bush, 2000-2008, had an average inflation rate of 2.83% and cumulative inflation of 25.03%.

Whereas President Obama, 2008-2016, had an average inflation rate of 1.37% and cumulative inflation of 11.47%.

In the spirit of being honest, the average inflation rate from 2020 to today is 4.94% and cumulative inflation of 21.20%. Not 30%, as you posted above. The direct cause was coming out of a Pandemic and consumers pushing up prices with all that delayed spending. Most of President Biden’s “inflation” happened in 2020-2022, with an average inflation rate of 6.49% and cumulative inflation of 13.38%.

I encourage you to be honest. If you are trying to convince people that your candidate is better, then please tell us his plan for getting inflation under control.

    Thank you.
