When I first read about such things I thought what if it comes on and hits the cat while in the box? Traumatized forever…

Freeze tag, regular tag, Red Rover, dodge ball, hide n seek…these are all kid games etched in our memories… but I hadn’t retained memory of this game until I recently saw a board game with that name, plus then an actual new TV game show (silly but undeniably fun – great to watch if one is in the throes of grief or bleakness). I know I must’ve played it – heck, I might’ve invented it as we all probably did – but why is it now (suddenly) popular or at least brought to mind (again)? Hmm.

I love the wording (delicious cliche, pickle all of the things) AND the expressions (esp Dans eyebrows and thoughtful frown as he looks around consideringly, but also the dubiousness/pleased satisfaction combo). Perfect!

And here I was wondering if it was paraphrasing Eddie Moneys Two Tickets to Paradise… I haven’t even heard of anyone you guys mentioned… am I old? Don’t answer that….

Yes, If you mean the science was clear about how dangerous Covid was, and how effective and life-saving the vaccines are, despite uncommon side effects as there can be with any drug (penicillin will kill me). The risk of lifelong problems like clots (and diabetes and more) from Long Covid merits the use of vaccines, masks, etc. How people still do not understand the definition of a world epidemic is beyond me. My husband and I only stopped wearing masks last month, which is when we also ate in a restaurant with friends for the first time.

Ha! “You can’t drive me crazy – I’m already there!”

Correct – if someone read too quickly they’d just see the word pretending, but it’s Miles inside Kevin’s body saying “It’s hard to be Kevin – I should have told everyone the truth of how we’ve mystically changed bodies”.
