The crappiest hotels don’t have the system. And I’ve stayed in some crappy hotels.

That’s what I do. They’re not supposed to do that, but a modest gratuity usually gets the extra card.

I got this. Most hotels have a slot you have to put your key card into. It’s near the door. When the card is gone, all lights go out as a power saving measure. (Sometimes you can slip in a business card to keep the aircon on when you go out, but other hotels are wise to this move.)

If you stumbled in drunk and immediately fell asleep as Stephan probably did, you might have forgotten to put the key card in the slot near the door. Then you wake up in pitch blackness.

I’m too old to cut my own toenails. I get Mrs. Headgear to do it. She’s happy to do it, she really is.

This one is some of Scott’s best work. The funniest jokes are the ones that are ridiculous yet true.

Several problems. First: You are assuming that the photo indicates the documents as found. That is not the case; the photos were laid out that way by the FBI.

Separately, here is the FBI’s admission of what it did with the documents:

“After the boxes were brought to WFO, the FBI created an index to correlate the documents with classification markings to codes (e.g., document “bb”) and labeled the classified cover sheets in the boxes with the codes for the seized documents. The FBI also generally replaced the handwritten sheets with classified cover sheets annotated with the index code, but regardless, any handwritten sheets that currently remain in the boxes do not represent additional classified documents—they were just not removed when the classified cover sheets with the index code were added. In many but not all instances, the FBI was able to determine which document with classification markings corresponded to a particular placeholder sheet.”

Evidence tampering. And the involvement of the unelected Biden regime just before the raid is suspicious enough to warrant throwing out the case.

Second: Joe Biden acquired his classified documents when he was Senator, and then Vice President. Which means he was never entitled to have them in his possession, ever. Yet he was never investigated — until President Trump was raided, then a cursory “investigation” was held, much like the “investigation” of cocaine found in the White House.

Do you accept that President Trump is being selectively prosecuted? People unauthorized to hold classified documents got off scot free or with a tap on the wrist; Trump is raked over the coals. Signing an NDA is routine; Trump, and only Trump, is being dragged into court for an NDA with a floozie. Negotiating a bank loan is perfectly legal; Trump is being tried for it. Earlier a “rayp” case fell apart because a tweet from the mentally ill “victim” showed that The Apprentice was her favorite show years after the supposed “rayp”!

I’m alleging what I said. Evidence tampering is a serious offense. If it were not serious, Smith would not have lied about it. Do not make the mistake of accepting Smith’s attempt to minimize the issue.

But wait, there’s more. The Biden White House was in direct communication with Smith’ s office in the runup to the FBI’s raid:

Judge Aileen Cannon on Monday ordered key evidence in Jack Smith’s classified documents case to be unredacted.

The newly unredacted documents revealed Biden’s White House had direct ties to the Mar-a-Lago raid. The Biden Regime was also directly tied to Jack Smith’s investigation despite claims to the contrary from US Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Before with redactions: Jack Smith wanted to hide the fact that the National Archives had several conversations with the Biden White House.

And again: Why only Trump? Trump took scrupulous care of the documents in his possession, Biden tossed them in a pile next to his car, many years ago. Never an investigation.

Just open your eyes. It’s right in front of you.

point one Jack Smith was caught lying. In August he said the documents at the President’s home were as found. Early this month he admitted they were not.

    Evidence tampering.

“In a May 1 filing, Walt Nauta’s attorney claimed he had difficulty in cross-referencing materials in classified and unclassified discovery because ‘certain items in the seized boxes he reviewed were in a different order from where they appear in the scans of the boxes’ contents produced in discovery.’

“Jack Smith in his Friday night response admitted the FBI moved the classified documents around.”

point two Also, an unsealed motion reveals Jack Smith’s top prosecutor, Jay Bratt, met with a top Biden aide in September 2021 – before any classified documents were discovered at Mar-a-Lago. Bratt met with an aide to Biden’s White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain in September 2021.

point three As I have repeatedly pointed out, President Trump’s careful stewardship of documents contrasts starkly with Dependsident Biden’s haphazard tossing of classified documents into corners of his garage and other rooms in multiple houses. Justice pursues crime; persecution pursues individuals.

    Selective prosecution. Simple as.
