There have been a number of things that Joanie has objected to all along, Zeke not being the least of them. The tattoo rings are the straw that broke the camel’s back.

    How about “folks”?

I’m looking at 4 Palm Pilots sitting on the shelf next to my computer desk, complete with plug-in keyboards, modem and GPS. Used it until the day I retired (2020). If one died, loaded up another and moved on. Bought them on Ebay for somewhat less than 10 cents on the dollar (original price). Worked great for what I needed.

Idiots are idiots, regardless of the form of transportation they choose.

Yeah. It’s a real thing. I stumbled onto it while channel surfing. Not too bad, actually. Kinda like Table Tennis if the table was much bigger and you stood on it.

I had an extraordinary experience at the original “Ghostbusters” movie when it was first released. I watched the late morning showing in a nearly empty theater but missed the first 10 minutes. Found it to be a mildly amusing movie. I decided to stay and watch the part I missed when the next showing started. Now, the theater was three fourths full. Ended up staying for the entire show. With the crowd laughing, it was now a hilariously funny film even though I knew exactly what was coming. The sequence of events was an enlightening example of how a persons emotions can be influenced by environment.

The family will be very surprised at the empty bucket when completing the clam dig.

When we were teenagers, we played “Dart Baseball”, where a person would stand about 20 ft. from a dartboard hanging on the wall while another person would stand next to the dartboard holding a broken pool cue. The objective was to throw the dart at the board while the second person attempted to block or deflect the dart. These were metal tipped darts and the thrower would try to burn it past the second person. Amazingly, we went several rounds without incident before the dart stuck in the broken pool cue. Instantly, everyone’s IQ jumped 50 points, the pool cue was dropped to the floor and we never again played that insane game. Other equally dangerous games but not “Dart Baseball”.

I had a medium sized, long haired house cat several years ago. She’d always try to escape whenever I came home. Occasionally, I’d let her out to walk around but I’d shadow her in case she tried to make a break for the woods. She hated dogs with a white hot passion. If she saw one, she attacked, no matter how big it was. I usually could run her down before she reached the dog or dogs. (I was faster in those days.)
