bin Laden was born in Yemen. The U.S.S. Cole was attacked in Yemen. “Our” guy in Yemen screwed up, again it appears at first glance. We DID attack “bad guys” in Yemen just before the “bomber” pulled his stunt, possibly getting his mentors, but this administration is bright enough to NOT disclose our “security” sources to the public.
Despite the critic, after eight years of total incompetence, the intelligence community IS being allowed to function as they should. They are not being used as a PR campaign tool whenever it “looks good”.
OLD is correct, the money is coming from Saudi Arabia, but that’s not the real problem.
The real problem is we are letting a bunch of people scare us over a real, but very small threat. We are a nation of several million people, a few thousdand terrorist are not going to conquer or destroy us even if they were able to blow every plane out of the sky.
The fear is created by the Far Right and the Republicans, it started when they were in charge because they used fear to get more power, it has continued because the Far Right and the Republicans use everything they can to attack Obama and the Democrats.
The Far Right seem to think Americans are cowards and will surrender to the terrorist rather then fight. I guess the Far Right doesn’t like America, maybe they should go back where they came from.
