Go with the sneakers, at least you’ll have more support and you won’t weaken your ankles as you would in stiletto.

Funny how men seem to love the look of stilettoes…if they love them so much, then they should wear them, IMO.

Hurry up, Cathy, buy more shoes. Teach us that’s all that women truly care about.

You’ve got to admit, there is a bit of truth to the “women-shoes” stereotype. Every other girl I know is obsessed.

Not me, though; I once almost left home in my fuzzy pink slippers.

I thought the new trend was obsession with purses?

I’m not at all obsessed with shoes. In fact, I have left the house twice in my pink slippers, BananaSlug! I kept wondering why pushing the brake and gas pedals didn’t feel right. :-) Anyway, I got irritated that my foot got longer after having my second child because that meant I had to buy new shoes. The only thing that I like about high heels is that I tower over almost every guy and it’s funny to watch their reactions. LOL! (I’m 6 feet barefoot)

I LOVE shoes. Especially pretty shoes, and cool shoes, however, I’d rather be barefoot than wearing shoes, and I usually am.

I had those horrible “Earth Shoes”back in grade school in the late 70’s, where the heel was lower than the toe. I don’t know how I ever got used to how uncomfortable they were, and unnaturally awkward they were to walk in, except that I knew I was obligated after what my mother paid for them just to shut me up.

I wore very high heels only for many years, and my feet and ankles are just fine and problem free. I can even run in high heels. I’m so glad stilletos are back, even though I’m not wearing them now. They’re just so much more feminine.

funnyfan928, what makes you think men like women in stiletto heels? I think that’s purely an invention of the fashion industry.

summerdog: The purse obsession comes next. Must find the perfect purse to go with each shoe……

Me - sneakers, flat dress shoes/sandals, TEVA’s, barefoot when possible. One spring/summer purse, one fall/winter purse.

I can’t stop laughing at how salespeople in these strips can never really settle down into either (a) the fantasy that magical concepts and emotion is their business or (b) the reality that dollars are their business.

The truth (whichever it is) breaking through always takes me by surprise and makes me laugh out loud.
