And people make fun of Match.com. It certainly worked for Frankenstein’s monster.

Hmmm. One would have expected they’d met at torch.com.

Even among monsters there’s sexism. Why does she have to be bride of Frankenstein? Why couldn’t he be the groom of the bride of Frankenstein?

Nozzi, you’re misconstruing who’s who and what’s what. “Frankenstein” is the doctor who created the monster, not the monster’s name (in the original book, he never gets a name). “Bride of Frankenstein” means “Bride (created by) Frankenstein” not “Bride (who is marrying) Frankenstein”.

If they ever made a light-earted musical out of this, they’d have to do a duet with the monster singing “I’m not Frankenstein, he is,” with the doctor doing “He’s not Frankenstein, I am.”

I’d think the monster would stay away from something called “match.” FIRE! NO GOOD! RRRR!
