Renting can be such a pain in the butt. Rules, rules, and more rules. My late wife and I were so happy when we bought our little row home. Aim low and be free!
Doesn’t hurt to ask about it. Maybe you wouldn’t have to pay the fee since you didn’t paint the walls. Most they can do is say no.
