After freeing himself from his ice prison he set sail for his island in hopes of finding it intact, maybe to set up shop again as his base. The US Navy has been watching after the failed attempt to board his submarine and the Russians too. Thwarted by his living sentinel, a giant red crab which is now holding steady on its slick hull as they move through the water at flank speed. He has just struck down their surveillance drone out of the sky. They follow, but at a discrete distance behind him.
His submarine is unique, nothing quite like it. Part German, part Japanese, all combined with his genius all run by an electronic brain of his own design. It follows his verbal orders instantly. Right now he needs to shake his pursuers. Though in this age he will have considerably more problems keeping his island secret.
He goes to his weapons storage to have a look at what can be used. He has many choices and he likes to mix and match too. He has the full inventory in his mind with crystal clarity.
Reaching the door, red for danger and yellow an black stripes for caution. He just presses his finger prints of his left hand to the plate that takes a bit to activate then scan them. Then he speaks to let it read his voice and his exhalation content. Finally his bodily aura and capillary matrix of his eye. Then the double locks open and rises outward on a hydraulic cylinder.
“Now to find the right bouquet to give the American Navy.” He said out loud to himself, mostly.
Actually, in some ways, the kid might be better off in foster care. For one thing, the child welfare system might pay for her corrective surgery so she could walk. She could also get counseling for that awful temper she has.
