I had a room mate in college, who had looked into taking up smoking (tobacco). Cigarettes were like 30 cents per pack back then (1963). He calculated how much it would take to have a habit of smoking two or more packs per day, like the smokers he knew. He then pointed out that smoking would be like burning his money, instead of using it for something important.Look at how much pot, booze, drugs and other stuff you take to get “high” costs. Is it really worth it?
