Well, at least they had the right intentions…unfortunately, they forgot to consider standard teenage rebellion to voices of authority coming into play. Not good, because I think they’re right, Mildred would be better off not pursuing the matter.

Hitting her with pressure fails. She hardens her stance unless she wants to change it.
