A terrific and an entertaining cartoon. A bit harsh for devotees of the actual Mt. Hood, which is a major peak. But hey, you can’t make an omelet without breaking a couple of eggs.
How long do you think it will take before Trump tweets something that contradicts what was in the speech (obviously written by someone else) Monday night?
I’m more interested in how long it’s going to take to remedy all the damage that 45 is doing to our country. He keeps backtracking on all the Humane awareness programs that have been implemented in the last 50 years. He is ravaging our country like a barbarian.
While in SMU, l lived across the street from a former Klan national headquarters. At the time, it was a dorm for law students. When active, it was opposed by a lot of real conservatives: TX Gov. Jim Fergusson, Dallas News publisher George Bannerman Dealey (as in the plaza), etc.
Oregon does have a butte that had the name changed by the Geographic Place Names folks, it was the site of 11,000 year old sandals found in a cave, the name was “Ni**erheal” Butte. At the time it was name btw, it wasn’t intended as an insult, just like all the “squaw” features across the rest. If you want an insult just name something other than his buildings for Trump, well, maybe a sewage treatement plant?

but, speaking of history, Oregon was the west coast home of the Klan in the 20’s and 30’s. Still have some holdouts.

They better not let 45 deface mt. Rushmore with his mug. Right now it has some dignity.

The only “Mount” I’d like to see is more “Mount”-ing evidence to impeach him.

Hey! I was born there. Go pick on Mt. Adams. Or St. Helens, she’s had a rough patch.

I understand the reaction by Mt. Hood fans (I’m one of them), but we should also remember that “hood” has multiple meanings.

I can see the real Mt. Hood from my home and I am grateful that it does not resemble Mr. Trump at all. It is a majestic, beautiful mountain!
