Jokes aside, it seems to me that parents should listen when a kid says the babysitter is “mean”. Maybe it’s nothing, but maybe it’s something. You can’t afford to take that chance with your kids.
After my baby sitting sister in law left, the kids told us that she told them that if they didn’t behave, she was going to rip off their leg and use the stump to whop them over the head. Obviously they behaved since they both had their legs.
