That’s the trouble with my barrio – too many people speak Spanish. lol
Frankly, in the 5 years I’ve lived here, I’ve never heard anyone speak anything else ! ( Of course, I live in Machala, Ecuador, so…)
I pulled the same stunt in Denver a few years back — and the guy replied in perfect French! Busted! I gave him a ten.
I subscribe to Baldo in both languages. It can get interesting to compare what they say, in both languages. Both languages express the day’s subject, differently.
