Kind of off topic, but….Did anyone ever see the Twilight Zone episode “It’s a Good Life”, where Billy Mumy plays a kid who can make things happen with his mind and all the adults have to placate him with “happy thoughts” so that he doesn’t make bad things happen? Replace the Mumy character with Trump and the adults with his staff and you get an idea of what a staff meeting with the president is like.
Yep, it’s time to focus on space, in the same way that the “old world” focused on the “new world”. Hopefully, without inflicting as much damage as was done to this beautiful continent. Hopefully, not to use it as new battlefields for the agrandisement of one person’s ego. Humanity needs an escape route from the antonistic power mongers on this world who seem intent on destroying us and our ability to live here on this world. Yeah, we can hope……but what are the chances???…..
It is good to see that knowledge of history is not quite dead yet. Brian betrays a bit of “Trump Derangement Syndrome” now and then, but his work usually has a solid historical foundation.
