EARWORM! Hate when that happens!

I think Petey’s valuable life lesson is to wear ear plugs around Alice.

Grog, just add the word “ALAYS”, and I’m with you.

By the way, we played a game last night called “Grog!”

That’s a four year old for you, what’s hot one day is so NOT hot the next!

I love the low-impact game of soccer that Alice and Beni are playing throughout this.

Yes one mustn’t crowd pleasurable activities with life lessons.

One study suggests that one can “cure” an earworm by doing math problems. Personally, doing math leads my brain to hunt down and play back an internal soundtrack to accompany the action and adventure of doing the math.

And, yeah, I guess people do “study” such things. Tax dollars at work.

And life sure has a lot of lessons

ABBA songs will give you earworms. I watched the movie with Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan once and couldn’t get those $%#!! Abba songs out of my head for two months after. “Knowing me, knowing you, uh-huhhh, there is nothing we can’t do, knowing me knowing you, uh-huhhh,” etc. ad infinitum.

Why do my earworms tend to be songs I HATE?

They do make you older & wiser, zsteelie, though it won’t help your spelling much.

jump4joy, I think the worst is Take A Chance, but that’s my opinion.

Saucy- because they are the ones that DJs seem to want to play… like “Goodnight Irene”. And in my teen dance class it was “Glow Little Glow Worm, Glitter, Glitter”
