If Rex’s aim were a little lower, Leonard would be missing his left heel.

Notice the precision bite…no skin, just pant. Rex is a master.

That’s what he gets for annoying Rex AND wearing cheap inserts.

0ne of the rare times we actually get a view of the skinny leg inside the voluminous pants.

You can see why there’s room for cardboard inserts.

It just doesn’t work for us non-toons.

Humans wear their pants embarrassingly wrinkled, in the eyes of Ballard Street toons.

Rex ate the cardboard insert and all. I think he’s telling Albert that he needs more fiber in his diet.

So, Rex, if you don’t want to heel, what do you want to do?

Apologies in advance: The first thought that came to my mind was that Rex kneeded a rest…

Philbert hopes his own healing will begin upon Rex’s resumption of gumption.

Rex is doing his impression of a glacier, and calving.

I don’t think it was the heeling that set Rex off. This walk started without the normal tummy rub, and Rex has limits about what he will do without a tummy rub.

One day I was walking with my cat. Since we were headed back toward home after a half-hour walk, he was less distracted and walking without those frequent “curiousity stops”. I thought to myself, “It’s almost like walking with a dog.”

At that point, I noticed he was walking slightly ahead and to the right of me. He was walking me “at heel”! :)

I doubt there will ever be another cat like “Johnny Depp”.

That’s about when the dog would go to a new home. Possibly with other people. No excuse for that kind of behavior in a fully grown dog unless his people are completely incompetent at raising one, in which case he needs better people.
