The Iditarod, officially.

That’s quite a pseudo sled.

This is where we get to throw in the classic observations about scenery changing and the first lesson learned by Eskimo children.

I don’t get it.

doesn’t look like he is prepared for such a long journey.

Dogs don’t sweat.

Not what a dogsled looks like. They have runners, for one thing.

Well, I don’t get this strip.

I was in Alaska on a land/sea cruise & one of our side trips stopped at Susan Butcher’s dogsled training area. One of the things that the dogs love to do is have a team of four pull an ATV around their training loop.

I thought the number was the key, but had no idea what it meant. Thanks for sharing.
