He plays golf like I do. They had us play with golf clubs and balls once in high school. And after many attempts to hit the dang thing, I wound up pounding it into the ground. Seems it was the only way I could successfully hit it.
Reminds me of the story of the village blacksmith working with apprentice. Blacksmith put a red hot piece on steel in his anvil. He told his apprentice “See this piece of metal. When I nod my head, hit it with the hammer”.
