Farmers, truckers, and rail lines still need petroleum products to get food on the table. Homes need heat and air conditioning. By the way, electric vehicles need lubricants and tires. Planes need jet fuel and ships need fuel. How many hundreds of millions will die if pipelines are blocked or destroyed by misinformed environmentalists. I am an environmentalist too. We need to reduce the demand for energy or discover competitive methods of providing it, but that still won’t solve overfishing, garbage pollution or most importantly the destruction of available fresh water by fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides.
