It reminds me of one time around 28 years ago, where my 1.5 year old son was watching me play one of those scroll down shoot ‘em up games on the computer. He wanted to play, so I set it up so it kept firing continuously and all he had to do was move the mouse from left to right to shoot down the enemy coming down from the top of the screen. He only managed to get through the first level without being blown up. I was so impressed. He’s been very good at gaming ever since.
My 1st computer was a Timex Sinclair TS1000 for $99. It was a small, about 6×8 little flat box. The keyboard had the BASIC programming code. You had to use a TV for the monitor, and a tape recorder to load programs. Then came the Commodore 16. I so enjoyed learning programming in BASIC. To me, that’s when computers were fun.
