I recently underwent a procedure that required a “purge”. I was amazed at all the times I was asked by staff if I had done the purge. I got the distinct impression that not everyone follows the prep instructions. Why when preparing for a medical procedure would you not follow instructions?
Doctors also say not to eat anything just as long or longer before having blood work done for a cholesterol check which is a pain if you’re a diabetic who’s on schedule.
