Dan, Breezy better be brainwashed or a clone. This is a sharp ‘plot burn’ if this is not a dream(and technically unnecessary since it implies the Gang of Unknowns ‘beat’ Rip into existential oblivion since Breezy has been ‘turned’ out of joint(until Christmas at best, Mr. Thompson?)). However, could Cobra actually be the clone Skull was talking about rather than Corrine(Cobra’s alias)?
I hope Rip’s still suffering hallucinations thanks to the mists of Blood Curddlin’ Mountain or some other explanation because each new “revelation” has lowered my enjoyment of this arc.
Pancake houses are not good to shelter people from the elements because they are soft and cheap. Fruitcake houses are significantly superior, being extremely robust and solid
Never fear, Rip: pancakes (and their proprietors) are inherently noble and decent. None would have anything to do with those waffle-eating scoundrels in Skull.
What if this ends up like the Truman Show, with Rip punching through a tree only to learn he has been on a cleverly replicated studio soundstage? Superman did this years ago when Superman met Conduit, a unique 90’s supervillain, within the Dakotas it looked cool.
Actually, right now, it might be more appropriate to reveal this as a story that Hazy is trying to finish while in her room in the real world. Way more sense!

Didn’t Rip and Breezy live in Starlight County because Breezy inherited her place there? That was a long time ago and I really don’t remember.

So is this arc just another hallucination?

What about “International House”? Sounds like a place for a lot of agents with diplomatic pancake immunity.

Just to be on the safe side, we had better check out the pancake house. :)

As many wrenches and gun butts have been broken over Rip’s head, its not hard to see why reality is hard to define in his world.

I’m pretty sure the Pancake Emporium is safe. Evildoers aren’t really fond of pancakes.
