Right after my husband turned 50, we almost lost him due to an infection. 3 weeks in ICU, 35% chance of coming home. Thankfully, he made it. The next year my boss turned 50, and my older daughter asked him if he was going to fall apart soon. (Incidentally, I’m turning 51 next month & haven’t fallen apart either…yet…)
