This reminds me of another classic FA hut:

paranormal romance in the menstrual hut

Oh, and leave it to the overlords to ignore Frog Applause AGAIN! Apparently, FA isn’t blogworthy enough.

(IMO, Frog Applause is TOO GOOD for their boring blog. I’m still deciding whether to remind them of the menstrual hut in their blog comments… maybe several of us should say something. Or not.)

I notice he has curtains up in his hut. Wonder what’s blowin’ in the breeze on his clothesline? A pair of long johns? Or maybe it’s the third ghost. Wait. Maybe this strip is about how many ghosts we can find.

I thought the woman shaped void over the chair represented his home’s need for a woman’s touch to the decor.

On the line is clearly the gentleman’s (and I use the term advisedly) Union suit. He gazes at it fondly. His loud objections to its laundering have been for naught and now he’s reconciled to its temporary freshness. The blank female space out front has a darker meaning for me … what has he done in the laundry wars?

The visage on the chair is Sylvia Plath* looking for a little hut action.

    * It’s possible that’s not Sylvia Plath. I just like to say, “Sylvia Plath.”

It is Rev. Randy Roberts. The lady whose apparition appears in the corner chair is actually June Cleaver. The Lone Ranger will be along soon.

I’ve seen the interior of many of these so-called tiny houses and they contain numerous ingenious ways to create space vertically or by giving dual purpose to some architectural elements. For example, an upstairs loft has storage units in the stair steps. Furniture folds in and out. Some people are quite content with simplifying their lives with just the bare necessities.

A few months ago Teresa talked about “spite houses”. Houses bulit on small pieces of property to annoy neighbors, etc. If I remember correctly, many were small homes with unusual shapes and colors.

This guy’s hut looks like it’s in the mountains somewhere, not a spite house, unless you count the ghosts that might be upset by the location of his hut.
