My original post back in 2019:

It was about this time they realized diving off a board high above the water would be a better competition.

/// Four young Bathers were rowed far from land,

where they swam and took turns getting tanned.

    Matelot manned each oar.

Why not bathe at the shore?

Can’t stand crevices rasped from the sand.

    Wherever the h€££ you’re going/

    Whenever Maurice is rowing/

    There are always two oars/

    And a couple of ‘ores/

That is why his “cruise business” is growing.

Where’s your sense of sport? Pull off your tops he did retort. The ladies obliged and they found out he lied when he promised to only look and not touch.

She looked around and saw no playground in sight. “I’m out of here,” she said as she dove in and swam to shore. Edna completely misunderstood the meaning of a “swingers’ cruise.”

Knowing Jenna had used the ol, “I lost my swimsuit bottoms” to steal her boyfriend once before, Kristen decided she would go back in after them.

Jenna never dove- she was pushed!

She’d been caught in a wicked ambush

    When asked why, Captain Eddy

    His voice even and steady

Said, “I just wanted to look at her tush.”

Bathers or Swimmers in a boat

    Paste (including the quote marks)

    "Category:Undated paintings" Wikimedia

(syntax supported by the Google, Yahoo, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, and Yandex search engines) in the browser address bar (or search for it using one of those search engines) and choose the first Category: found, and once there find the text string Baigneuses, and click its link for info and links that point to more info about this roughly jumbo envelope size painting. The original strip coloration image was at a website that has been archived, but not fully, and unfortunately the webpage that has the strip coloration image was not part of the archive.

Again, a larger strip image is shown by merely clicking the image in Mr. Melcher’s THROWBACK THURSDAY: MASTERPIECE #2341 (12/3/19) (August 30, 2023) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment. I have added a comment there (awaiting Mr. Melcher’s approval) pointing to info about this artist I used to point to here. So far, only work this artist used here (2 times total, including this Throwback Thursday repeat), the December 3, 2019, strip being its first use.
