I still don’t believe he won’t come up with the money. When he was allowed to live in the white house he had many private meetings, here and abroad, and he must have made a lot of deals for cash in those meetings.

Also, who knows how many times he made copies of the classified documents he stole, not to mention the ones that have never been recovered. That’s more cash.

And speaking practically regarding trump, there’s no way trump is gonna sit by and watch kushner get two billion dollars grift money from the Saudis and not get at least half that much for himself.

And we haven’t even mentioned sources like putin, musk, casino billionaire steve wynn, home depot billionaire bernie marcus, and all those red state suckers, coast to coast, who are still donating their welfare check money to the “save the billionaire chosen one” gofundme.

Serious question: why doesn’t the Trumpster just declare bankruptcy like many of his casinos and corporations have done in the past? The SOB knows how to weasel his way out of paying coin to those he owes. Just ask anyone who was a contractor or sub-contractor involved with any of the ventures which went bankrupt while he was involved with them from the ’80s and his USFL debacle onward through the various scams he has run. The bankruptcy courts make sure that 1%er conglomerates like big banks get their coin back but the average working man is lucky to get a few pennies on the dollar when thieves like Trump declare insolvency.

He won’t declare bankruptcy, again, like soooo many times before… because it’s his IMAGE that is more important to him than anything else. His narcissism is front and center, which is his twisted raison d’etre … go ahead, MAGA freaks, Google it, if you dare. Tell me I’m wrong. Then again, what do you care? Chaos and violence is your perverted remedy.

Yeah, yeah, “This govt is so illegitimate”. There is no reasoning with them.

Nonsense! Of course, he can appeal, and the district attorney cannot stop it. It’s how Drumpf keeps delaying his being held accountable.

To correct a common misconception that is fed by this cartoon, Trump has already filed his appeal. The bond he can’t get would put a stay on his having his assets seized if he can’t pay the fine imposed by the judgment while he’s appealing. Such bonds are required so people don’t try to weasel out of paying what they owe for as long as they can by drawing out the appeals process to its absolute limit.

Bok got one right, I guess. The big lie about his billions is spinning out of control. The cult god and “emperor”-wannabe has few liquid assets and many of his properties are leveraged on other loans. His worshippers are paying his legal bills with their social security checks. The conservative big donors who want a Republican prey have been reticent about sending money to the Trump campaign because they don’t want to cover his legal bills. The “emperor” cannot even afford the barrel to cover the fact he has no clothes.

    From Wikipedia:

    Civil fraud

Although elements may vary by jurisdiction and the specific allegations made by a plaintiff who files a lawsuit that alleged fraud, typical elements of a fraud case in the United States are that:

    1. Somebody misrepresents a material fact in order to obtain action or forbearance by another person;

    2. The other person relies upon the misrepresentation; and

    3. The other person suffers injury as a result of the act or forbearance taken in reliance upon the misrepresentation.

To establish a civil claim of fraud, most jurisdictions in the United States require that each element of a fraud claim be pleaded with particularity and be proved by a preponderance of the evidence, meaning that it is more likely than not that the fraud occurred.

Sort of like what they said about the various Benghazi! “investigations”.

Actual examples of MAGA commenters here on GoComics:

“Just wait! You’ll see! The Durham Report will vindicate tЯц☠p! You’ll see!”

“Just wait! You’ll see! The January 6th riot was by the Deep State FBI, BLM, and Antifa! You’ll see!”

Add another example of Legitimate Political Discourse:

“Just you wait! You’ll see! We’ll make Biden walk the plank!”

yeah, after we make him hand over his lunch money at recess!

Just read the following on The Hill.

“Shareholders of Digital World Acquisition Corp. (DWAC) approved a merger with former President Trump’s media startup on Friday, teeing up Truth Social’s stock market debut and a potential $3.5 billion windfall for Trump.”

SEC approved the merger last month. While the money won’t be there come Monday, it’s clear the guy is far from broke. And I wonder if the shares could be used for a loan.

It’s hard to put into words how badly I want trump to fall short, how much I want trump to fail at getting back into the white house.

Aside from my personal dislike of him for being, among other things, a racist, a bigot, an exploiter of workers, and a sexual predator, trump has never been, nor will he ever be, worthy of being president, because he can’t.

trump has not, will not, can not, ever take the job seriously.

And now, with his looming, huge, crime-related debts that he actually has to pay, and which are expanding, and his ongoing court cases straining his continually degenerating cognition, he is even worse.

trump is promising his hordes that he will rip this country apart, that he will seek out and punish those who aren’t loyal to him, and pull us out of NATO, and ensure women across this country will never again have autonomy.

trump will surround himself with people who do nothing about his impulse control, who will, in fact, encourage him to do his worst, including but not limited to, expunging this country’s curriculum of accurate science and history, using the men and women who serve faithfully in the military as a cudgel against his conceived enemies, and ending voting as we know it.

trump will use the office to get the attention he desperately craves, and to benefit himself and the billionaires and authoritarians he serves and looks up to, and completely extricate himself from any and all crimes committed by him, in the past and ongoing.

trump will wring every penny possible out of his position as president, he will not care, at all, about the irreparable collateral damage his grift causes to the people living in this country.

Their jobs, their health, their overall well-being, never mattered to him, and never will.

And from day one, trump will be trying to use his right-wing supreme court, and his attorney general, and every republican politician, and anything else in his considerable power, to ensure he never again leaves office.

@FJB: Congressional Republicans have been attempting to make Mr. Biden walk a plank with their impeachment proceedings. How’s that going?

The only dirt they could find was provided by those with connections to Russian intelligence.

Do the crime, do the time. That’s the thing about the law. The only way they can make Mr. Biden walk a plank is to throw out the concept of law and order, which is a major plank in the Dotard’s campaign for dictator-for-life.

Which tRump are the cult? The self made multibillionaire he portrays to the cult, or hard pressed victim who needs more of your money. Kinda like the two-faces he presents to the banks and buyers vs his taxman face. It’s called fraud.

To quote “Chucky Cheese” Schumer “you have reaped the whirlwind.” Stripping Trump of his property and wealth insures he will be elected. The American people are on to your “lawfare” and know the injustice in it. If you insanely believe he is Hitler, he will be a dictator, and this will be the end of democracy then you have insured your own doom, The Lefty media may rejoice over Trump’s humiliation but watch the polls over the next months. If Trump’s numbers go up, as I think they will, and Biden’s go down, it will be confirmation your tactics have failed. His election will be a landslide. And then you better head to the storm cellar because a monster tornado is headed the Democrat Party’s way.

Ahahah…The appellate court just reduced President Trump’s bond to $175 million. This will be the fifth time that partisan, hack judge Engoron has been overruled setting a record. Here’s the question, when the entire case is overruled will NYC have pay interest on that $175 million? Tish made a big thing and posted every day the interest accruing on the unpaid amount of The original $454 million bond. How much money has this bogus trial already cost NY?
