Has AI been coloring the strip this week? Could that explain why the speech balloons are colored, but the actual comic is in black and white? If so, they might want to either retrain it or reboot it.
I’ve studied cats and that’s how they seem to handle it. My dad, born 1921, learned parody lyrics to The Old Gray Mare when he was a kid that started, “The old gray mare went pffft on the whiffletree…” Back then kids knew what a whiffletree was.
Useless information, horses go several times a day 4 or more. Side note, anyone here remember a Carol Burnett show that had a live horse in the scene, live show and it let loose with a healthy number 1 ? Carol lost it and kept on with the show.

Nature shows a strong push for procreating too; She’s always far less invested in what’s here than in what’s coming next.

The only real purpose for life (aside from decreasing entropy locally) is to reproduce. Humans tend to complicate it way too much.
