I would like 5 to 7 parties that span the spectrum from progressive to conservative, a party for the environmentalists, a party for any other topic that attracts a few million people. As a party goes too extreme, voters could slide right or left, rather than facing a binary option.
And I would like Ranked Choice Voting. And no Gerrymandering.
The combination of these (which the PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS will NEVER allow) would enable the government to be “of the people by the people for the people” by allowing the PEOPLE to select their politicians, rather than the current system of politicians selecting their people.

RFK (extremely junior) is only one of the lunatic third party candidates. Aren’t we lucky?

This is actually good news. Third parties usually end up by being a spoiler, split the electorate and the least desirable candidate is elected.

I actually would like a third party, but it has to grow from the ground up and not the top down.
